To install an NVMe SSD in your PlayStation 5, first ensure your console has the latest software. Power down the PS5, unplug it, and remove the stand. Flip the console over to access the expansion slot. Next, remove the metal cover to access the drive bay. Unscrew the insert and move it to the appropriate hole for your SSD size, usually 80.
