Son of former Greek PM honors sister Lena one year after her death

Kostas Samaras, son of former Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, marked one year since his sister Lena's death with a tribute expressing eternal love and grief. Lena Samaras died suddenly on August 7, 2025, aged 34, from cardiac arrest. She experienced severe dizziness, was examined at two hospitals, then suffered seizures and cardiac arrest at Evangelismos Hospital despite doctors' efforts to revive her. Born in Athens in 1990, Lena graduated from Athens College and studied Civil Engineering and Interior Design in London. Her brother's post included three red hearts, an infinity symbol, and a family photo.
