Sochi rescuers head to Dagestan to address flood aftermath

Rescuers from Sochi have been dispatched to Dagestan to help with flood aftermath. A group of rescuers from the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has departed Sochi for Dagestan to address the consequences of recent floods. As of April 8, 1339 homes and 1664 yards were flooded in eight Dagestani settlements. Over 590 people, including children, are in temporary shelters.
