Snowstorm set to blanket 44 regions in UK starting February 4

A large band of snowy weather is approaching the west coast of Britain, expected to bring 2 to 3 cm of snow per hour starting February 4. This weather system stretches from central Wales to northern Scotland. The Met Office has issued warnings for strong winds and heavy rain in parts of the UK, particularly after Storm Éowyn recently impacted the region. Winds could reach up to 70 mph in some areas. Looking ahead, a quieter weather pattern is expected later in the week, with drier conditions and sunny spells for most areas. However, some rain and hill snow may still occur in the northwest.
