Snow blankets parts of England and Wales as temperatures drop to -6C

New weather maps indicate that parts of England, Wales, and Scotland will be covered in snow this week, with temperatures dropping to -6C. This follows the impact of Storms Eowyn and Herminia, which caused significant flooding. Thirteen cities in England, including Bath, Birmingham, and Manchester, are expected to experience snowfall. Cardiff in Wales will also see flurries, while rain is forecast for central and eastern regions, including London and Cambridge. The Met Office has issued yellow alerts for rain and flooding in southern England and Wales. Strong winds were recorded recently, with gusts reaching 84mph on the Isle of Wight.
