Snoop Dogg releases new album featuring Tom Petty-sampling track with Jelly Roll

Snoop Dogg has released a new album titled *Missionary*, produced mainly by Dr. Dre. The album features a song called “Last Dance with Mary Jane,” which samples Tom Petty’s “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and includes Jelly Roll. In “Last Dance with Mary Jane,” Snoop reflects on his long history with marijuana, while Jelly Roll takes a more serious tone, comparing Mary Jane to a heartbreak. The album also includes samples from Pink Floyd and Sly and the Family Stone. *Missionary* features several guest artists, including Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent, marking a significant collaboration for Snoop Dogg. This is their first full project together since *Doggystyle*.
