Skimming devices found at Walmart self-checkouts in Pennsylvania

Walmart shoppers are being warned to check their bank accounts after a man and a juvenile were arrested for installing skimming devices at self-checkouts in Central Pennsylvania. The suspects used a T-shirt to hide their actions. Marcus Covaci, 20, faces multiple felony charges, including theft and access device fraud. He was caught after police linked him to a vehicle used during the incidents at various Walmart locations. Authorities advise customers to inspect card readers for unusual attachments and monitor their bank statements for suspicious transactions. Covaci's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 19.
