Sir John Key achieved his second hole-in-one at Kauri Cliffs golf course in Northland, using a 9-iron on the fifth hole during a game with his son Max and friends. The shot measured 118 meters. Key's first hole-in-one occurred in December 2022 at a charity event, which was filmed. This recent ace, however, lacked video evidence, but Max confirmed the moment, noting his father's impressive shot. The game ended in a draw, and Key mentioned that the bar tab was cheaper this time, as he was the only one drinking alcohol. He will participate in the same charity fundraiser again on December 13.
