Singapore to auction 15 properties from S$3b money laundering case
Singapore will auction 14 luxury apartments and one office unit forfeited in the country's largest money laundering case, with sales scheduled for September 2026. A penthouse at South Beach Residences is listed with a guide price of S$25.3 million. The properties, located in prime areas like River Valley and Orchard, will be handled by Edmund Tie & Company and Knight Frank. Auctions include units at South Beach Residences, 8 Saint Thomas, Paterson Suites, Sloane Residences, Gramercy Park, and a Suntec Tower One office, with guide prices ranging from S$3.6 million to S$25.32 million. These properties are part of over 80 real estate assets and 1,000 luxury items forfeited in the S$3 billion case, which stemmed from an illicit gambling ring. Deloitte, managing the asset sales, will auction items in phases from September 2026 to mid-2027.
