Sindh forms third medical board to exhume Mir Ali Raza's body

The Sindh government formed a new eight-member medical board on Friday to exhume Mir Ali Raza’s body on Saturday, after withdrawing two earlier notifications. The exhumation was deferred from Friday after Raza’s family objected to the board’s abrupt reconstitution. The new board is led by Police Surgeon Dr Sumaiyya Syed and includes forensic and pathology experts. A court approved exhumation amid questions over the autopsy findings. Raza, a 25-year-old eatery owner, went missing on July 28 and was found dead with a gunshot wound. The police surgeon had cited inconsistencies in the autopsy; police point to financial difficulties.
