Silent Hill F set in 1960s Japan for PS5

Konami has officially revealed Silent Hill F for PS5, the first new main entry in the series since 2012. This game will be set in Japan, marking a significant change from the traditional U.S. setting. The story takes place in 1960s Japan, where the protagonist, Shimizu Hinako, faces a fog that transforms her town into a nightmare. Players will solve puzzles and confront monsters in this new environment. The game features familiar elements like combat and exploration. Notably, the story is written by Ryukishi07, and Akira Yamaoka is composing the soundtrack. No release date has been announced.
