Konami has revealed new details about the upcoming game Silent Hill f during a recent transmission. Producer Motoi Okamoto, writer Ryukishi07, and composer Akira Yamaoka discussed the game's setting in Japan and its theme of finding beauty in terror. The game will follow a teenager named Shimizu Hinako as she navigates a foggy town filled with monsters and puzzles. The story will center on a significant decision she must make, described as "a beautiful yet terrifying choice." Ryukishi07, known for his work in Japanese horror, is writing the script. He aims to create a strong female protagonist who makes her own choices amid challenges, differing from past portrayals in the series. A release date has not yet been announced.
