Sikorsky transforms Black Hawk helicopter into an unmanned drone carrier

Sikorsky has transformed a Black Hawk helicopter into an unmanned aerial system (UAS) called the S70U-Hawk, capable of carrying drone swarms. The S70U-Hawk replaces the cockpit with a cargo bay, offering 25% more space and enabling the launch of drones or ground vehicles. It can be controlled via tablet. The company aims for rapid, cost-effective replication of these modifications, with the first flight anticipated in 2026.
