Sify Technologies will soon open a new data center in Karnataka, according to Industries Minister MB Patil. Bharti Enterprises also expressed interest in establishing a data center in the state. These announcements followed Minister Patil's meetings with global corporations at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Discussions also occurred with Mistral AI, Carlsberg Group, Imperial College London, Philip Morris International, PayPal, and Bharat Forge. A MoU was signed with the Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce to boost investment.
