Siddharthnagar madrassas adopt NCERT textbooks for grades one through three

Siddharthnagar madrassas will now teach using NCERT textbooks for students in grades one through three, a new directive aimed at improving education. This initiative, effective from the current academic session, will provide free NCERT books to students, mirroring the system in basic education schools. The Basic Education Department will facilitate the distribution of these books. Over 400 recognized madrassas operate in the district. This change is part of broader government efforts to enhance the quality of education in state-run institutions and increase public interest in them.
