Sharmila accuses brother Jagan of lying in Adani bribery case

Y.S. Sharmila, president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, accused her brother, former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, of lying about his involvement in the Adani bribery case. Sharmila criticized Jagan for making costly power purchases from the Adani Group, which she claims burdened the public. She noted that other states avoided agreements with Adani while Jagan's government quickly signed a deal with significant concessions. She challenged Jagan to swear on the Bible that he did not benefit from the deal with Gautam Adani.
