Shark robot vacuums leak home layouts and Wi-Fi passwords due to security flaw

01net.com (French)

Hundreds of thousands of Shark robot vacuums are exposing home layouts and Wi-Fi passwords online due to an unpatched security flaw. A critical configuration error allows attackers to control any Shark vacuum in a geographic region by compromising just one device. This grants access to cameras, floor plans, and cleartext Wi-Fi passwords. SharkNinja has not provided a fix for the vulnerability, which was reported four months ago, leaving users' sensitive data exposed.
