Shah to open 5-day exhibition on new criminal laws in Bhopal
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate a five-day exhibition on India's new criminal laws at BHEL Dussehra Maidan in Bhopal on Saturday, October 3. The event aims to familiarize citizens with key legal changes and the increased use of technology in policing. Organized under the Union home ministry's guidance, the exhibition will run until October 7, featuring live demonstrations of investigation processes, forensic teams, dog squads, and fingerprint experts. Displays will show evidence collection, forensic lab examinations, and how scientific proof is presented in judicial proceedings. The event also promotes cyber safety through the 'Safe Click' campaign, highlights the e-Zero FIR facility, and showcases citizen-focused initiatives like Operation Muskaan and 'Say No to Drugs'. A live digital quiz on the new laws will be held for citizens and students.
