Shaboozey's song "'A Bar Song (Tipsy)" has tied the record for the longest No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart this decade, spending 17 weeks at the top. This matches Gabby Barrett's "I Hope," which held the record in 2020. The song has achieved 27 total weeks at No. 1 and has been streamed 17.5 million times since May. It also shares the record for most weeks atop the general Hot 100 chart with Lil Nas X. Shaboozey previously made history as one of the first Black artists to top the country chart. He is nominated for Best New Artist at the upcoming Grammys, with "A Bar Song" also nominated for Song of the Year and Best Country Solo Performance.
