Seysses schoolchildren run for hospitalized kids

ladepeche.fr (French) —

Students from four primary schools in Seysses will participate in the annual Foulée des écoliers charity race, running laps to raise funds for hospitalized children. The event takes place Wednesday and Thursday at Parc de la Bourdette. Over a thousand pupils from Paul-Langevin, Flora-Tristan, Saint-Roch, and Claire-Roman schools will run a circuit as many times as possible, with kilometers tallied to beat last year's record. Each student can voluntarily donate coins in class, with proceeds going to the Hôpital Sourire association in Muret. Organized by the municipal sports school, the cooperative race features staggered class schedules and spectator support. An official ceremony will present the collected donations at one of the schools.
