Severe Tropical Storm Pepito exits Philippine waters with no new cyclones in sight
Severe Tropical Storm Pepito (Man-yi) has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of November 18. It is currently located 410 kilometers west of Laoag City, with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h. Pepito made landfall twice as a super typhoon, causing heavy rain and strong winds across Luzon. It is expected to weaken further and may become a remnant low by November 20. No new tropical cyclones are being monitored at this time. However, moderate to rough sea conditions will continue in certain areas, with wave heights reaching up to 5 meters in some regions.
