Severe storms bring tornado and flash flood risks to New Jersey and New York City

Tornado and flash flood risks are high for New Jersey and New York City as severe storms move through the region. The National Weather Service has issued a Level 3 out of 5 severe weather risk for much of the tri-state area, with damaging winds over 65 mph also expected. These storms are also expected to clear out recent Canadian wildfire smoke, with cooler weather anticipated for Sunday's World Cup final.
