Seventy deep tech companies secure €32.5 million in EU funding through EIC Pre-Accelerator program

Seventy early-stage deep tech companies received €32.5 million in EU funding through the EIC Pre-Accelerator program. The funding aims to boost innovation in widening and associated countries, with individual companies receiving up to €500,000. Companies from Portugal, Estonia, and Turkey were most represented, and 24% of projects are led by women. Additionally, 320 high-quality applications received Seals of Excellence to help them secure alternative funding. The next call is planned for next year with a larger budget and increased funding per company.
