Semis block highways in Saskatchewan due to snow and icy conditions

Snow and icy conditions are causing traffic issues on Saskatchewan highways. Semis are blocking parts of the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 11, according to RCMP. As of 1 p.m., the eastbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway are restricted between Rush Lake and Chaplin. A semi is also blocking the northbound lane of Highway 11 near Kenaston. Drivers are advised to avoid these areas and check the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline for updates on road conditions. Most southern highways remain snow-covered.
