Security forces conduct drill to prepare for Maha Kumbh in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Police and various security forces held a security drill in Prayagraj on Saturday to prepare for the 2025 Maha Kumbh. The exercise focused on responding to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. The drill simulated a terrorist attack involving hostages and a dirty bomb. Security teams practiced coordinated responses from both land and water routes to neutralize the threat. NSG commandos demonstrated their skills by rescuing hostages and disarming a bomb. The exercise confirmed the readiness of security teams to address potential risks during the Kumbh Mela.
