Scammers created a fake Birmingham Art and Music Festival ad to steal money from vendors. The social media advertisement promoted a nonexistent event at Shain Park from May 15-17. Police are urging anyone who paid for vendor spots to report the fraud. This scam comes shortly before the actual 45th Annual Art Birmingham festival, scheduled for May 9-10 at the same location.
