SCAC golfers win three District 3 titles at Honey Run

Three SCAC golfers won District 3 titles at Honey Run Golf Club on Saturday, with Dover's Patrick Knaub, Dallastown's Bryn Krosse, and Fairfield's Isabelle Studli each claiming championships in their respective divisions. Knaub shot even par (144 total) to win the Class 3A boys title, tying for the tournament's lowest combined score and beating Palmyra's Brady Hughes by three strokes. Freshman Krosse also carded 144 to win the Class 3A girls title, defeating Exeter's Giulia Weisser by three strokes. Studli shot 149 to win the Class 2A girls title by 11 strokes over Oley Valley's Chloe Pridie. All three golfers qualified for the PIAA Tournament, scheduled for Oct. 19-21 at Penn State's Blue and White Courses. Krosse's Saturday round of 70 was the lowest single round of any golfer in the tournament.
