Saudi Arabia commits $1 trillion to U.S. investments
Saudi Arabia pledged to invest $1 trillion in the United States, a significant increase from previous estimates. This commitment was announced following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Washington. The agreement includes a nuclear cooperation deal, memorandums of understanding in artificial intelligence and critical minerals, and a strategic defense pact. Saudi Aramco also signed deals worth over $30 billion with U.S. companies. The U.S. also agreed to future sales of F-35 fighter jets and confirmed Saudi Arabia's purchase of 300 American tanks. These agreements aim to boost U.S. exports and strengthen bilateral ties.
