Saudi airstrikes on Sanaa airport kill two in Yemen

in.gr (Greek) —

Saudi Arabian airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport in Yemen killed at least two people and wounded two others, according to Houthi-affiliated media, following a rebel attack on Riyadh airport that left three dead. The strikes, reported Friday by the Al Masirah TV network, also targeted communication networks in several areas including Bilad al-Rus, Arhab, and Saada province, with additional raids on Amran and Hodeidah. The Houthi-run airport authority confirmed the casualties, as the Iran-backed rebels remain at war with Yemen's internationally recognized government, which Saudi Arabia supports.
