Sarnia police seized guns, cash; charged three people

Sarnia Police seized firearms and over $30,000 in cash from a home near Sarnia, leading to charges against three individuals. The search warrant, executed Thursday at a Beaver Circle residence in Aamjiwnaang First Nation, yielded a .45 caliber handgun, a .22 caliber rifle, and various ammunition, deemed unlawfully stored. The SPS teams involved included the Major Case Action Team, Emergency Response Team, and K9 Unit. Three residents of the Beaver Circle home, aged 56, 19, and 22, now face charges related to the seized weapons and cash. The investigation is ongoing.
