São Paulo influencer's arrest follows fake cosmetics scheme

Influencer Nayara Macedo, also known as Any Auada, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly participating in a scheme to counterfeit and sell adulterated cosmetics. The arrest occurred in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, following an investigation into the sale of fake products through digital platforms. Police seized cosmetics and an Audi Q3 during the operation, after a consumer reported buying counterfeit perfumes. Macedo gained recent fame for allegedly being involved with soccer player Neymar. She claimed to be pregnant with his child, though she provided no proof.
