Santa Fund raises $1,240 toward $225,000 goal for children in need

The Santa Fund has raised $1,240 as of November 30, with a total goal of $225,000. The fund aims to provide vouchers for essential items for children in need. Founded in 1894, the Santa Fund is co-sponsored by The Daily Progress and WINA, in partnership with the United Way of Greater Charlottesville. It serves families in Charlottesville and surrounding counties. Donations can be made online or by mail. The Daily Progress will publish donor names and any designated honors throughout the holiday season.
