Sandisk launches production-ready SD cards for 4K, 6K, and 8K video workflows

Sandisk has released two new SD UHS-II memory cards designed for high-resolution video workflows, offering faster speeds and larger capacities for professional creators. The cards target demanding 4K, 6K, and 8K recording needs. The Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II V60 card supports 6K video and burst capture, with read speeds up to 300MB/s and capacities up to 2TB. The Extreme PRO SD UHS-II V90 card delivers sustained 90MB/s write speeds for 8K recording, read speeds up to 310MB/s, and similar 2TB capacity options. Both cards feature IP68 water and dust resistance, survive drops up to 6 meters, and include a 2-year RescuePRO Deluxe file recovery service. They are available now, with V60 starting at 64GB and V90 starting at 128GB.
