Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad have started construction on a new resort in Calaca, Batangas. They held a ground-breaking ceremony on January 9, attended by their daughter Mia Aya. Pinto and Semerad married in March 2021 and welcomed their daughter later that year. Pinto returned to acting in 2023 after a six-year break. Pinto described her time away from show business as a period of rest and freedom. She expressed excitement about the new resort project, which they hope will be "magical."
