A 300-meter stretch of Taluk Office Road in Saidapet has been renovated with new lights, fountains, and seating, enhancing the area. The Highways Department completed the beautification project, which includes seating, grass beds, and automated lights and fountains, at a cost of ₹75 lakh. The lights will be on from 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM, and the fountain will operate until 11 PM. The department plans further beautification, including a facelift for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's statue. A new footpath and stormwater drain are also nearing completion on the opposite side of the road.
