Russian volunteers in special military operation receive enhanced pension benefits

Russian government approved amendments to military pension calculation rules for voluntary participants in the Special Military Operation. Each day of service in volunteer units will count as three for military pension calculations. Hospital stays due to combat injuries or illnesses will also be counted favorably. For volunteers in counter-terrorism operations in border areas, one day of service will count as two, including treatment time. A certificate confirming participation in the operation has also been approved.
