Russian drone strike on Kyiv residential building injures 13

A Russian drone strike on a nine-story residential building in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district injured three people, with rescuers evacuating 25 residents. The total number of injured across the city has risen to 13. The strike hit the 8th and 9th floors, causing a fire that was extinguished over 50 square meters. In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell near a store, and two people were hospitalized. Earlier impacts were also recorded in Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts. Russia has intensified drone attacks on Kyiv since late August, with air raid alerts lasting longer. In August, Russia launched over 2,800 drones at Ukraine, a fivefold increase from June. Ukrainian authorities and international organizations classify these strikes as war crimes.
