Russia helps China expand nuclear power

Russia is assisting China in its nuclear power expansion, aiming to help Beijing surpass the United States as the world's largest producer. Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev confirmed Russia's support, stating they are "already helping" China build reactors and meet ambitious energy goals. China plans to significantly increase its nuclear capacity, potentially exceeding 100 gigawatts. This collaboration follows a meeting of Russian, Chinese, and North Korean leaders, highlighting a growing alignment among nations challenging Western influence. China also plans a lunar nuclear plant with Russia.
