RTÉ will adapt Marian Keyes' bestsellers into a new series titled "The Walsh Sisters," set to begin filming in early 2025. The six-part series will explore the lives of five sisters in Dublin as they face various life challenges. The adaptation will focus on characters Anna and Rachel, drawing from five of Keyes' novels, including "Rachel’s Holiday" and "Anybody Out There." The series aims to maintain the spirit of the books while providing a comedic take on serious themes. Directed by Ian Fitzgibbon, the series is produced by Cuba Pictures and Metropolitan Films International, in association with the BBC and Screen Ireland. It will premiere on RTÉ, followed by BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
