Rowland wins Mexico City E-Prix after late safety car shuffle
Oliver Rowland won the Mexico City E-Prix, overtaking Porsche drivers Pascal Wehrlein and Antonio Felix da Costa after a late safety car restart. Rowland was in fourth place with just a few laps remaining before seizing the opportunity to take the lead. The race saw Rowland start fourth but quickly moved up to third early on. The first half of the race was mostly uneventful, with drivers waiting to use their Attack Modes for extra power. A late safety car changed the race dynamics, allowing Rowland to capitalize on the situation. Despite being behind in energy, Rowland managed to hold off da Costa and Wehrlein after the final restart. Jake Dennis finished fourth, followed by Jean-Eric Vergne and Maximilian Guenther in fifth and sixth, respectively.
