Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant distributes over 1,350 dictionaries to local third graders
The Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant has distributed over 1,350 dictionaries to third graders in the East Cooper area this October 2024. This effort is part of their annual program, which has provided more than 27,300 dictionaries since 1999. The initiative supports local education and aims to empower young learners with essential resources. The Rotary Club has been active in the community since its charter in 1977, focusing on service projects. Club members meet weekly on Wednesdays at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Interested individuals can contact David Kent for more information about attending meetings or joining the club.
