Rosario Dawson's Spider-Man Cameo Cut From 'Brand New Day'
Rosario Dawson confirmed at GalaxyCon Raleigh that her cameo in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" was cut from the final film, despite having shot a scene for the movie. She shared the news during a Q&A session, expressing disappointment that her appearance did not make the theatrical release. Dawson, who played Claire Temple in Marvel's Netflix series from 2015 to 2018, noted a personal family connection to Spider-Man, as her uncle is a comic book artist. She had prepared behind-the-scenes photos and a social media post featuring her grandson in Spider-Man gear before learning the scene was removed. The actress previously stated she was done playing Claire Temple after appearing in five shows, including Daredevil and Luke Cage. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is currently in cinemas, with Dawson's cameo absent from the final cut.
