Rome police save 18-year-old from suicide attempt after years of bullying

An 18-year-old in Rome attempted suicide with scissors after years of bullying, but was saved by police. The teenager barricaded himself in his room, threatening his mother. Police arrived and negotiated with him for hours before safely entering the room and disarming him. The young man had previously been a victim of bullying in high school, and despite changing schools and seeking therapy, the trauma resurfaced.
