Romania introduces differentiated property taxes and disability tax breaks

Romania's ruling coalition agreed on new tax measures, including differentiated taxes for old buildings and tax breaks for people with disabilities. The agreement introduces a 25% tax reduction for buildings over 100 years old and 15% for those between 50 and 100 years. People with severe disabilities will get a 50% reduction on building and car taxes, while those with pronounced disabilities will receive a 25% reduction. The coalition also approved a reform package for central and local administration aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing state costs, alongside an economic stimulus plan.
