Romania allows Environmental Guard footage as evidence

Environmental Guard footage will be admissible as evidence in court. This aims to stop illegal activities profiting from public health. The government is preparing an emergency ordinance to allow photos and videos from Environmental Guard commissioners to be used as legal proof. This follows a government decision on using newly acquired equipment like drones and bodycams. The Minister of Environment stated this measure is crucial to combat illegal activities harming public health and to ensure offenders cannot evade justice through legal technicalities.
