The Robinson Nuclear Power Plant has received a 20-year operating license extension, allowing it to run until 2050. The facility in Hartsville, South Carolina, generates 759 megawatts of electricity, powering approximately 570,000 homes and supporting nearly 500 jobs. Duke Energy invested $1.7 billion in upgrades.
