Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) has collaborated with engineering students to create a mobile app for ASHA and Anganwadi workers. The app helps diagnose health issues in newborns and children by allowing workers to speak symptoms for instant assessments. The app uses the Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) algorithm to improve decision-making for health workers. It was developed during a hackathon aimed at addressing challenges in medical institutions. The development team plans to test the app's accuracy in the community medicine department before promoting it at the government level. The app is currently available on the Google Play Store for validation.
