Rio Grande do Norte announces 2026 IPVA payment schedule and values

Rio Grande do Norte's government has released the 2026 IPVA payment schedule and values, with payments beginning in March for vehicles with license plates ending in 1 and 2. Vehicle owners can pay the tax in a single installment with a 5% discount or in up to seven installments. The tax rate is 3% of the vehicle's market value, reduced to 1.5% for vehicles using natural gas. The IPVA values are based on Fipe research, and discounts from the Nota Potiguar program are also applicable. Exemptions require application with the State Finance Secretariat.
