Ricky Gill expected to lead South Asia at Trump's National Security Council
Ricky Gill is expected to be appointed as the senior director for South Asia in Donald Trump’s National Security Council, succeeding Lindsey Ford. Gill previously served as the NSC director for Europe and Russian affairs during Trump’s first term. David Feith is likely to take on the role of NSC senior director for technology and national security, replacing Tarun Chhabra. Feith has experience in the State Department and has written extensively on Asian security issues. Both Gill and Feith will report to Trump’s national security advisor pick, Michael Waltz. Their appointments are not yet finalized, and last-minute changes may occur.
