Rewe and Edeka shoppers warned about Fuze Tea Peach recipe change

Consumer advocates are warning shoppers about a change in Fuze Tea Peach sold at Rewe and Edeka. The product is now labeled "improved taste" but contains significantly less brewed tea and peach juice. The new recipe replaces 92% brewed black tea with 0.12% soluble tea extract and reduces peach juice from 1% to 0.1%. The flavor now comes from artificial peach and other natural flavorings. This change, termed "skimpflation" by consumer advocates, lowers production costs while maintaining the same price. Fuze Tea was previously criticized in 2018 for a size reduction and price increase.
